Hi, I’m Dave, the founder of Minimal Office.
Before creating Minimal Office, I spent years working in corporate finance, stuck in the typical 9-to-5 grind. Like many of you, I struggled with the mental fatigue and physical discomfort of sitting all day at a desk. My back was constantly sore, my energy was low, and I often found it hard to stay motivated. Sound familiar?
That all changed when my employer introduced stand-up desks into the office. At first, I was skeptical. But once I gave it a try, I realized just how transformative it was. My back pain diminished, my energy levels increased, and I was far more productive. I felt better, both physically and mentally, and it completely changed my outlook on work.
It was such a game-changer that when I transitioned into working for myself, I knew I had to recreate that environment at home. I invested in a minimal, ergonomic setup with only the essentials: a high-quality stand-up desk, a walking pad to get my steps in, and a comfortable, supportive office chair. The difference was incredible. Working for myself in a home office with a space designed for health and productivity completely elevated my work—and my life.
